Amulet Glass Beaded Pouches.
These amulet pouches are updated versions of the ones made and worn by
Native Americans. The pouches, worn around the neck, held charms or
amulets used to protect the wearer from evil spirits. These little
purses came into vogue in the early years of the nineteenth century
and are once again popular. The Artist, Janet Dickey, has made
these purses that are stitched using the brick, peyote, or square
stitch with genuine glass Czech beads. |

HEINTZ ARTS & CRAFTS STERLING BRONZE 3 SET. This fantastic 3 piece matching set includes 1 calendar holder; 1 pen/pencil tray and 1 two section letter slot/holder. All three pieces feature a bronze base with edges accented in sterling. The set has an Arts & Crafts design. All pieces have 4 felt pads on the bottom and they are all stamped: with the Heintz logo with the number 1043B, Sterling on Bronze, Pat. Aug. 27 12. The calendar holder measures approx. 5-7/8" By 4-1/4"; the pen/pencil tray measures approx. 9-1/8" By 3" By 5/8" high; and the letter holder measures approx. 8-1/8" BY 2-3/4" By 4" tall. All pieces are solid and in very good condition with great patina. Together they weigh approx. 3 pounds. |
